how do you do two toned pictures? could you somehow explain very briefly. im sort of getting better at photoshop so images are not needed. Im sure this is basic stuff and i just havent tried it out.

I usually figure things out for myself so this is my own method, I'll try to explain it so it's understandable.

1) Add a lot of contrast to your photo.

2) On a new layer either 'colour' it in or draw a rectangle with the colour you want over the photo then set the layer to Multiply. (For this photo I set the colour to pink).

3) On another new layer again 'colour' it in or draw a rectangle with the colour you want over the photo then set the layer to Lighten. (For this photo I set the colour to greenish blue).

4) This next part is optional, if you find there are dark patches in the two-tone image you don't want then on a new layer, in between your photo & the colour layers, colour in the areas with the brush set to white.

Boom. Iconic. Your face is so distinct- I mean, there are plenty of pretty girls out there, but few can really be recognizable amongst a sea of them. Good job with your work, I like where you're heading with this new batch.
