Lovely. To me this evokes sorrow, yet hope remains... that her far away, longing gaze is a longing for a certain someone's passion....

Fantastic lighting. This is a self-portrait; either you have a masterful command of studio lighting or were very lucky or have some tallented studio help to set up your photos.
