do you use a high pass filter on your photos?
or what exactly do you do?

Thank you & I'm planning on making a few tutorials soon :)


- I desatured the original photo to get the pale skin.
- Originally the background on this was very similar to my skin colour but I like a bit of contrast between me & the background. On a seperate layer, with the brush tool (medium blue colour), I filled in the background. I then set that layer to hue & played around with the opacity.
- To get the sort of 3d appearance I used the dodge & burn tools to enhance the highlights & shadows.
- I always sharpen my photos when I'm done as a final touch.


This is a basic tutorial for this one but I'll be doing picture versions soon so it's easier for people to understand.
